The band have a huge repertoire of covers, each performed in her trademark style, and often re-arranged in a “Live Lounge’ feel, to give old classics, jazz standards and even modern hits a new lease of life. How about a soulful-funk version of the Spice Girls hit ‘Say you’ll be there’, to a spine tingling take on Coldplay’s ‘Yellow’ and the ever popular ‘Red’ by Daniel Merriweather – add Roo’s natural husky tone to these hits and you have ‘magic’.
Roo Savill is supported by the hugely talented Joe Chiari on acoustic guitar and backing vocals, and Jon Cox on percussion, Roo’s sound is complete. The bands support and client list includes names such as Ruth Lorenzo, JLS and Mario among others.
