This site has drained me and extracted every piece of creative juice I had left but alas, if given the chance I would do it all again. We have created I mini masterpiece, well at least we think so. Enjoy navigating yourself around our world of talent. You will find your skittles, liquorice all sorts, malteazers and your marmites all cramped into one Fantabulous site.  Get familiar with what we offer and who we offer – as strange as they may seem, you are guaranteed to be entertained just by having a root around our marvellous creation – so without further ado, get set , get ready and WELCOME – oh before I forget – thank you, thank you , thank you Richard (of the online creative), more so for putting up with me and my demands – not forgetting you fantastic work!

Dusty Springfield’s career extended from the late 50′s to the early 90′s  and is still one of the most celebrated artists to date. She is best known for her hit songs ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ and ‘You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me’ as well as her acclaimed album ‘Dusty in Memphis’.This special concert celebrated her contribution to the music industry and reminded everyone why she was known as the white lady of soul. Featuring performances from Stacey Solomon, Rick Astley and Mica Paris. The Rev Singers are seen boogieing on down with the Mcmillan nurses, we salute you for the work you doing.

A little bit of soulful inspiration goes a long way…

The London Community Gospel Choir were booked to sing at the Virgin London Marathon 2011 – oh what a day! Kitted out in full Lucozade attire, the 7.30am start didn’t seem all that bad – yeah right! The sheer determination and drive from all the passing runners, just made us want to sing louder – not to mention the lack of sleep and trying to stay awake. Whilst belting out anthems such as – “Don’t Stop Believing’ and ‘Living On A Prayer’ its seemed it was just what the doctor ordered along with a strong black cuppa.  The choir were stationed at mile 23 on the course. Whilst some runners looked battered, bruised and hanging on for dear life, others – like our beloved Alex – was filled with the holy ghost lol!  This runner needs a special mention, the sheer joy and energy that Alex had , put our choir to shame on the day.  We’ve decide to start a – WHERE IS ALEX? campaign – so if you have spotted runner no 49033 let us know – we want to make him our mascot lol!

The countdown to the beginning of London 2012 Olympic Games started. 500 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds to the greatest sporting event – displayed the giant Omega Countdown Clock, a moment after it had been revealed in Trafalgar Square. The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) and Swiss watchmaker, Official Timekeeper for the London 2012 Games, launched this Countdown Clock on March 15, to remind us of the upcoming sports show and guess what – The London Community Gospel Choir were there!  A complete emotional rollercoaster knowing that in 500 days London would play host to world – or was it because we pulled off a marathon trek and gig by singing in the Gerkin building and rushing off to sing at the BT Tower – yes you heard correct – our singers were fortunate enough to perform in not one but two of the highest building in London Town.

Our acts continue to go where angles fear to tread but the question remains – will Rev The Session Agency be fortunate enough to supply the London Community Gospel Choir for the much anticipated 2012 Olympic ceremony opening – well you just got to wait and see.

Following a fantastic night at The Bloomsbury Big Top on the 8 December 2010, which saw the cream of London’s attractions, people and businesses rewarded for their hard work and dedication to London, the BT Visit London Award winners have been announced and the London Community Gospel Choir were their to bring its infecious gospel flare to the event. Now in their seventh year, the Visit London Awards celebrate the richness and diversity of our unique city, and give recognition to the people, places and experiences that make London such an outstanding destination.

In true gospel tradition where anything can happen at just about anytime – LCGC were joined on stage by soul diva, Mica Paris.
